My approach combines traditional and innovative modalities to provide a personalized and holistic treatment plan.
Services Offered
I offer personalized treatment that goes far beyond conventional psychiatry. My comprehensive and integrative toolkit includes:
Medication
Psychiatric medications are used in mental health to help alleviate symptoms of various mental health conditions. These medications can target neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to regulate mood, manage anxiety, improve concentration, or stabilize emotions. It’s important to note that psychiatric medication is not always the sole treatment option nor is it always necessary for every individual. Treatment plans are often personalized based on the specific needs and preferences of the patient.
Vitamins, Supplements and Herbs
Not everybody responds well to medications, especially those with greater sensitivity and those predisposed to side effects. Fortunately there are effective alternatives I am happy to explain and recommend. Vitamins, supplements, and herbal interventions can target physiological imbalances to improve mental health, and are able to support conventional medication regimens, rather than just be an alternative. I work to find the appropriate balance for each person and their unique preferences.
Ketamine
Ketamine is a rapid-acting antidepressant that is FDA approved and prescribed off-label to treat depression, suicidal ideation, PTSD, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, and other mental health conditions. Ketamine works by rapidly shifting negative thought patterns and growing new neurons in the brain.
Specialty Lab Testing
To uncover underlying physiological imbalances including nutritional deficiencies, hormonal and metabolic imbalances, inflammation, infections, toxins, cellular effects of stress, and other factors contributing to mental health challenges.
Genetic Testing
Through advanced gene testing, we can analyze specific genetic factors that could contribute to depression, anxiety, ADHD, and addiction. By understanding these genetic nuances, I can tailor interventions more precisely, optimizing treatment plans for enhanced effectiveness.
Personalized Elimination Diet
The connection between gut health and mental well-being is essential to address. I incorporate specialty testing and the gold-standard –personalized elimination diets– to address potential dietary contributors to mental health challenges.
Lifestyle Modification
Even the most effective treatments will fall short if your sleep, nutrition, or exercise habits aren’t aligned with promoting mental health. While altering habits can be challenging, I specialize in assisting you in taking small, manageable steps that can lead to significant positive outcomes. By addressing these foundational elements, we can work together to enhance your overall well-being and create a solid foundation for your mental health journey.
Psychodynamic Therapy
This form of psychotherapy focuses on exploring how past experiences, especially those from childhood, shape a person’s current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This approach aims to bring unconscious conflicts and patterns into conscious awareness, allowing individuals to gain insight into their emotions and relationships, and addressing deep-rooted issues contributing to mental health challenges.
Psychedelic Integration Therapy & Psychoeducation
For those open to it, I provide psychedelic psychoeducation to explore the potential benefits of these transformative experiences in a safe and controlled manner. This approach involves educating individuals about the therapeutic use of psychedelics and their potential impact on mental health.
Meditation & Mindfulness Practices
Meditation and mindfulness practices offer numerous mental health benefits, including stress reduction, enhanced emotional regulation, increased self-awareness, improved cognitive functioning, better sleep, and increased resilience. By promoting relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional balance, these practices empower individuals to cultivate greater well-being and thrive in their daily lives.

Do you accept insurance? As an out-of-network practice, I do not accept insurance.
Being out-of-network allows me greater flexibility in terms of treatment approaches, session duration, and treatment plans. This can lead to more patient-centered decision-making and potentially avoid limitations imposed by insurance policies. It enables a more personalized and tailored approach to meet the specific needs of the individual.
Some individuals prefer the added privacy that comes with not involving their insurance in mental health services. When using insurance, certain information may be shared with the insurance company for reimbursement purposes.
"Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you, doesn't mean you can, should, or need to do it alone."
